Fit is not a destination; it is a way of life.” ICARUS Sports teams up with HYROX and has trained hard to take part in the most popular global fitness race, conceived for Every Body.

Created in 2017, HYROX is a competitive, indoor fitness race which calls itself  ’The World Series of Fitness racing’. HYROX events take place all over the world and have experienced remarkable growth in Europe and the US, with some events seeing over 8,000 participants and 10.000 spectators.

Christian Toetzke and Moritz Fürste, a German two-time Olympic gold medal hockey player are the two of three founders of HYROX, and are still in charge today. The competition’s format is made up of a 1km run followed by 1 functional workout, repeated 8 times. All participating athletes wear timing chips which track their whole effort and make HYROX comparable all over the world.

One must be at his top level if wants to compete with those elite athletes. ICARUS Sports got moves and will once more make it happen by securing the production and distribution of an engaging Concept TV Series to International TV News and highlight videos and short features for digital platforms and social media. Lastly, highlights from the venues will be included in the monthly TV show, the Outdoor Sports Show, meaning guaranteed exposure in more than 160 countries.

Poppy Siasou, Sales & Account Manager at ICARUS Sports comments: ”We are very happy to be part of the biggest and most popular Indoor Fitness Race in the world. We hope this new collaboration is the beginning of a long-term partnership bringing one of the world’s most exciting sporting endeavors to audiences around the world.”
