The World Games is a prestigious international multi-sport event held every four years, spotlighting sports and disciplines not featured in the Olympic Games. Organized by the International World Games Association (IWGA) under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the event celebrates athletic excellence, innovation, and global diversity. The 2025 edition in Chengdu, China, marks the 12th edition of The World Games, featuring 34 sports, 60 disciplines, and 256 medal events, making it one of the most dynamic and inclusive editions to date.

ICARUS Sports successfully supported ISB, the Host Broadcaster of The World Games 2025, in boosting global media distribution. With a strategic focus on expanding reach and visibility, ICARUS Sports worked to secure media rights agreements across key international markets, ensuring that the excitement and energy of the 12th edition in Chengdu will be broadcast to audiences worldwide. With 2,500 hours of thrilling live coverage and 400 hours of engaging shoulder content broadcast by 32 networks across 124 countries, the World Games reached an unparalleled worldwide audience.

ICARUS Sports also supported with TV News Distribution services. Over 80 broadcasters have been reporting usage of content for TV News purposes around the world including BBC, France 24, ZDF, RAI, Al Jazeera, CNN, ABC and news agencies such as Reuters, EBU Eurovision, JSNA and Associated Press.
