ICARUS Sports will be heading to the stunning Mediterranean island of Sardinia as media partner for the Rally Di Sardegna International Mountain Bike event from 16-21 June 2019.
With categories for individual racers and pairs, the multi-stage 368 km race unfolds over five days and features a total ascent of 11,000 m, taking riders through breathtaking scenery and natural landscapes.
The charming town of Arzana, situated in the midst of the highest peaks of Sardinia, is the base for the Rally Di Sardegna and hosts the 7 km time trial which kicks off proceedings and the starts for each stage. Arzana lies at the foot of Mount Idolo in the heart of Ogliastra, with lush forests, crystal clear springs and stunning views out to the Mediterranean sea.
Recognized by the Italian Cycling Federation, the Rally Di Sardegna is a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to discover the island of Sardinia and experience the renowned hospitality of its people.
As media partner, ICARUS Sports will cover both production and distribution, with an onsite team of two capturing the story of the race. The production package includes five 2 minute daily videos to cover each stage and a 5 minute wrap-up documentary immediately after the event. ICARUS Sports’ distribution extends to one 5 minute VNR, one online video, distribution to third party programming and inclusion in The Outdoor Sports Show TV magazine, reaching a broadcast footprint of over 160 nations.
