2018 delivered a significant year for ICARUS Sports who partnered with a record number of 33 outdoor sports events across the year.
“2018 really has been a milestone year of achievement for our partners and media teams,” reflected Jason Georgaris, ICARUS Sports’ Chief Executive Officer. “We have produced outstanding coverage of unique sports events in some of the world’s most stunning locations, telling the stories as athletes push themselves in pursuit of being the best.”
The growth in broadcast take-up of outdoor sports has been exponential around the world, as the enthusiasm and demand continues to grow for coverage of elite and recreational events at one with nature.
Broadcast production services have been managed by ICARUS Sports for projects around the world, with a particular focus on Africa, Asia and Europe. Distribution packages have included managing worldwide distribution for TV News, social media and inclusion in Sports TV magazines.
“2018 has certainly paved the way for an even more extensive year of programming ahead in 2019,” continued Georgaris.
