Drone GP, is a series of professional drone racing events launched in Shanghai, China in 2017. Each stop features sixteen pilots racing their one-design drones around a futuristic multi-dimensional track lit by neon obstacles. Pilots fly their drones via real-time video goggles, and the first to the finish gate wins in inevitable split-second timing. The pace of racing is phenomenal and adrenaline runs high, as the drones reach 100km/h in less than 2 seconds with a top speed of 200km.
