Continuing ICARUS Sports affinity for unique sporting events around the globe, the team travelled to the snowy town of Roccaraso, in central Italy to cover the 2022 SnowKite World Cup.
Since 2013, the SnowKite Center of Roccaraso has been organizing and promoting the SnowKite World Cup, along with the long distance snowkite and snowsurf events.
This year marked the 8th edition of the World Cup. Over the years, the event has grown in strength and popularity, attracting many experienced athletes of international repute.
The SnowKite World Cup, found space to grow under the International Kiteboarding Association, home to all snowkite athletes. IKA was created to offer a calendar of competitive races to professional snowkiters.
ICARUS Sports harnessed the winds, conquered the icy terrain and assured the coverage of the event by providing high-quality content once more. Highlights from the event were included in the monthly TV Show, The Outdoor Sports Show, meaning guaranteed exposure in more than 160 countries.
