More than 400 sport leaders from over 125 International Federations gathered for the virtual, invitation-only event organized by SportAccord under the theme of ‘Tokyo 2020 – Learnings and Take-Aways for the Future’.
Delegates heard from IOC Sports Director Kit McConnell, IOC Senior Manager – Medical & Scientific Department Dr Pau Mota, World Archery Secretary General Tom Dielen, International Golf Federation Executive Director Anthony Scanlon, and then President of SportAccord Dr Raffaele Chiulli.
The event also acts as a springboard for the much anticipated SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2022 in Ekaterinburg, Russia set to take place from 15-20 May 2022, reuniting the global sports movement in person for the first time since the onset of the pandemic.
ICARUS Sports supported the Virtual IF Forum 2021 organiser SportAccord and was responsible for the production and distribution of a highlight video of the event, including the production and distribution of raw footage and interviews for TV usage.
