ICARUS Sports is taking flight with the Paragliding World Cup; befitting of the company name, referring to the mythological character of Icarus, who flew too close to the sun.
The Paragliding World Cup is a cross country flying competition for paraglider pilots, organized by the Paragliding World Cup Association. Visiting 5-6 different locales around the world each year, the aim of the PWCA is to put on the world’s premier paragliding competitions and to advance the sport globally.
Highlights from the recent PWC Superfinal that took place in the ravishing Swiss village of Disentis will be included in the monthly TV Show, The Outdoor Sports Show, meaning guaranteed exposure in more than 160 countries.
