From the 15th till the 26th August, ICARUS Sports heads to Silvaplana / St Moritz for the unique Engadinwind. Surrounded by the gorgeous Swiss landscape, the event series will take place in the majestic Lake Silvaplana. Having hosted major events such as the Winter Olympics, it is the turn of the Foil Wind Surf elite to descend upon the Swiss town to lock horns with each other.
The events program will include an Exhibition race with the top windsurfers of the world competing against each other, followed by the Formula Foil World Championship, King of the Mountain Freestyle Windsurfing, European Freestyle Pro Tour | Freestyle Tow in Contest, MB Battle | Foil Style World Championship, Engadin Surf – Kite – Sail Marathon and finishing up with the iQ Foil European Championship.
ICARUS Sports will be providing daily live coverage employing multiple camera feeds including 2D tracking. In addition, ICARUS Sports will be in charge of video production of more than 30 videos including highlight clips, short features for social media and two 26-minute documentaries. Furthermore, ICARUS Sports will provide guaranteed exposure in more than 160 countries across the globe, through the inclusion of highlights in our in-house produced TV shows, Inside Sailing and Sailing To Tokyo; which are globally distributed to major broadcasters.
